Family Room at Wotton Lawn
Friday, 23 July 2010
Wotton Lawn, the acute mental health hospital recently held a grand opening for its new family room. This room comes as a direct result of Carers and Young Carers feedback, who suggested that it would be good to have a quiet space, away from the wards, where they can meet family members that are staying in the hospital.

The room is a comfortable space with sofas, refreshment facilities and plenty of toys for children.

The room was opened 3 years on from the initial idea being conceived and this was due in no small part to the hard work of Gemma Piper-Griffiths.

The room is readily available for use by families. Just ask the ward staff.
